What we are looking for :

Yazaki is seeking a Sr. Data Architect / Scientist to join our IT Department team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, action-driven environment and enjoys making lasting impacts on the organization.

What you will be doing :

• Support our Data Analytics team by analyzing and transforming data from multiple systems into our enterprise data layer.
• Master complex data sets, identifying insights, outliers, and data errors to ensure accurate business intelligence.
• Adapt business expertise to Yazaki operations to lead data projects from the functional side.
• Transform inbound data into usable artifacts, assets, facts, and dimensions in a SQL-heavy environment.
• Contribute to the transition of Synapse / SQL-based procedures into a Microsoft Fabric / Lakehouse environment.
• Partner with multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement data-centric solutions that support both reporting and business processes.
• Support projects and ensure system availability within the IT process framework.
