The Coordinator of Student Engagement is a full-time, grant funded position. The Upward Bound Math and Science Programs at Texas A&M University-Kingsville provide services to generate in participants the skills and motivation necessary to complete a program of secondary education and to enter and succeed in a program of postsecondary education. Upward Bound Math & Science is a component of the federal TRIO

• Program. The Coordinator of Student Engagement identifies, recruits and serves a caseload of Upward Bound Math & Science Program participants; provides academic, college, career, financial aid advising and other technical assistance to participants to promote high school graduation, college enrollment and degree attainment. Coordinates the Saturday Academy, Summer Component and other special events. Oversees advising, tutoring services and data entry according to program rules and regulations.
