Pay Information

$400 to $500 per hour

About The Position

Interventional Radiology Locums Physician - Georgia

Light Interventional Radiology assignment in Albany, Georgia, with flexible blocks, low acuity, and no diagnostic reads.

Highlights

  • IR only, no diagnostic radiology work required
  • Choose 1 to 3 weeks per month; block scheduling available
  • 24-hour call during onsite weeks

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient hospital with full support from technologists, lab, and ED staff
  • Not-for-profit facility equipped with Meditech, PACS, and Vocera systems
  • Collaborative and well-staffed environment

    • Schedule

  • Full-week blocks, onsite 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with 24-hour call during coverage weeks
  • Flexible monthly availability with open dates through spring
  • Over 300 total days of coverage available annually

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Core IR procedures including nephrostomy, biliary drainage, and CT- or ultrasound-guided interventions
  • Light diagnostic scope such as GI bleed localization only
  • No general radiology reads required

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active Georgia license or open to IMLC physicians
  • BLS and DEA certifications required
