Location : Riverview, FL (Field Service Technician II)

Overview

Primary responsibilities include performing assigned field service tasks safely and in compliance with safety, environmental and contamination control policies and regulations. This role requires maintaining tools, attending required training, and documenting repairs and job performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Attend and successfully complete required technician training classes.
• Maintain the necessary set of tools required for diagnosing, disassembling and assembling components to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
• Work in a neat and orderly fashion; continually seek ways to improve methods, work area, and safety standards.
• Inspect components to ensure maximum parts reuse and monitor repair costs. Complete required documentation using appropriate software to document repairs and track repair times.
• Monitor job expenses versus estimates and inform the supervisor of any cost overruns prior to job completion.
• Contribute to the team by completing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality standards; train and / or mentor others as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED

3-4 years

Valid Driver License; successfully completed required training for Service Field Tech II

Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and relevant dealer software

Training refreshed annually as job requirements change

Physical Demands and Environment

Various postures and manual tasks; lifting up to 50 lbs; pushing / pulling / standing as specified

Inside / outside conditions; exposure to weather, heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust and oils; respirator use when required
