Our client looking for a dedicated Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK. In this contract position, the Associate Patient Care Coordinator will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to patients and healthcare providers. The ideal Associate Patient Care Coordinator is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting patients with scheduling appointments and addressing inquiries.
  • Accurately process and document patient information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Coordinate referrals and manage benefit functions, including insurance coverage, deductibles, and copays.
  • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook to maintain accurate records and streamline clerical tasks.
  • Support clinical staff by handling receptionist duties, processing payments, and managing paperwork.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
  • Communicate sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical staff.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as faxing, filing, and managing spreadsheets.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical trial operations and other healthcare protocols as required.
  • Respond promptly to offshore and on-site inquiries to ensure seamless communication.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other office software.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and benefit functions.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience in clerical and receptionist duties, including appointment scheduling and documentation.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial operations and healthcare protocols is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
