Commercial Real Estate Paralegal-Commercial Title and Survey Review Experience Requred

DuBois, Bryant & Campbell, LLP (DBC) has an opening for an experienced corporate paralegal to join our team!

• GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent degree / experience required, with a Bachelors degree preferred

2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a real estate paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department

3. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Assisting with

a wide variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, loans and leases

title and survey review, including title binders, title objections and title responses

real estate transaction closings, including drafting closing checklists, closing documents, closing instructions letters and post-closing organizational steps

Drafting, preparing and filing :

purchase and sale agreements

loan documents

leases and subleases

entity formation, qualification, consents and resolutions

recordable documents, including UCC filings, deeds and mortgages

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

2. Experience with and proficiency in county and state recording systems

3. Notary preferred

The base salary for this position is commensurate with experience. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for quarterly bonuses.
