We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Procurement Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Rochester, New York. This role requires expertise in procurement processes, compliance standards, and managing vendor relationships to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in global and government procurement, along with the ability to navigate complex systems and tools.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee procurement activities, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Manage vendor relationships to optimize service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize procurement tools such as Coupa, Concur, and Oracle to support purchasing processes.
- Coordinate contract administration tasks, including negotiation and renewal.
- Implement strategies for global and government procurement to streamline processes.
- Monitor material handling and inventory management to maintain operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance on compliance standards such as DCAA to ensure adherence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve procurement workflows and systems.
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and performance improvements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in procurement, with strong knowledge of global and government procurement practices.
- Proficiency in tools like Coupa, Concur, Oracle, and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with compliance standards, including DCAA regulations.
- Ability to manage contract administration tasks with attention to detail.
- Expertise in material handling and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate procurement data and drive improvements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder interactions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
