About the Role :

LHH is assisting an AmLaw Corporate Transactional law firm seek a Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney to support their legal team on a contract basis . This role is ideal for an experienced attorney who thrives in fast-paced environments and is well-versed in handling complex corporate transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Draft, review, and negotiate M&A transaction documents including NDAs, LOIs, purchase agreements, and disclosure schedules
  • Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessments
  • Advise on deal structure, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure smooth transaction execution
  • Support post-closing integration and documentation

Qualifications :

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Texas
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate law with a strong focus on M&A transactions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines independently
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with private equity, venture capital, and cross-border transactions is a plus
  • Logistics & Compensation :

  • Contract Duration : Project-based or ongoing support.... can be in Dallas or Houston
  • Compensation : Targeting $90–$150 / hour depending on experience and scope
