Job Description :

The Coil Fabricator is responsible for properly setting up, stacking, testing, as well as, properly drying, standing up, moving, and detailing coils. Assisting machine operators in the department may be required.

Job Qualifications :

• Maintain positive, cheerful, and professional behavior daily
• Maintain good attendance and time management while at work
• Able to be a team member and take advice and instruction from senior operators
• Able to properly operate a machine in the department (i.e. bender)
• Setting up coils with minimal supervision. Duties to include : Reading prints, stacking and testing circuits.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety regulations at all times
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Assist in other areas of the plant if required
• Adhere to all company policies and work rules
• Able to read and understand Engineering drawings
• Read a measuring tape down to 1 / 32 of an inch
• Able to properly use hand tools
• Work with supervision of department supervisor and Coil Senior Operators
• Able to operate the 10-ton crane, or ability to be trained for crane operation
