Own the Receiving Process

Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.

Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and escalate issues promptly.

Ensure all materials are labeled and stored in designated locations.

Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment for loading and unloading trucks.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.

Accuracy in Inventory Transactions

Perform timely and accurate inventory transactions in the ERP system.

Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

Minimize inventory variances through disciplined data entry and tracking.

Ensure traceability and documentation for all received materials.

Operate with Urgency and Efficiency

Prioritize "hot parts" and critical materials to keep projects on schedule.

Communicate proactively with purchasing, quality, and production teams.

Approach all tasks with a mindset of "right part, right place, right time."

Minimum Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred
• Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment helpful
• Familiarity with ERP systems and barcode scanning tools preferred
• Experience or training with computers and ability to learn and use Aagard specific software
• Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. (utilize 2 person assist if needed)
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, push, or pull part containers
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be highly safety conscious
• Strong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detail
• Confidence and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writing
• Sense of urgency and passion for excellence
