Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position with house supervisor floating duties and a WI or compact RN license required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
  • Primary responsibilities in the ER with occasional training and coverage in the house supervisor role on weekends
  • 12-hour night shifts from 18 : 30 to 07 : 00, three shifts per week
  • Float required to house supervisor duties as needed
  • Every other weekend and holiday coverage required per system policy
  • Bedside shift reporting (BSSR), use of AIDET, and hourly rounding are mandatory practices
  • Barcode scanning compliance of at least 95% is required for extension eligibility
  • All required modules are completed during orientation and tracked via Kronos
  • Holiday requested time off (RTO) is not accepted except as specified; must work every other holiday if scheduled
  • Candidates must not reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility
  • Travelers must participate in emergency response activities if needed

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required
  • Current AHA certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
  • Preferred qualifications include NIHSS, TNCC, and prior charge or house supervisory experience
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
