Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Syracuse, NY

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment for procedures
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies during surgery
• Maintain a sterile enviment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Assist in setting up the operating room for a variety of surgeries
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients
• Document surgical procedures and sterilization processes
• Prepare patients for surgery, ensuring they are positioned properly for optimal surgical access
