About The Position

Job Title : Mobile Mammography Tech

Must-Have : Must know how to operate Hologic Dimension equipment.

Description :

Perform a minimum of 20 screening mammograms per day.

Techs are expected to meet performance expectations in a fast-paced outpatient facility.

Required attributes include autonomy, effective teamwork, great communication, a positive attitude, and flexibility.

Daily caseload ranges from 30 to 50 mammograms.

Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.

Travel time to and from the work site will be compensated.

If van assignments are unavailable, work will be scheduled at a physical breast clinic location.

Occasional Saturday work may be required, depending on operational needs.

Overtime may be involved, and the technologist must be willing to adjust work hours accordingly.

Technologists will float within scope to meet facility needs.

Floating to sister facilities may be required.

Strong understanding of anatomical positioning and radiographic techniques is necessary.

Adherence to regulatory guidelines is essential for accurate physician interpretation.

Must maintain detailed quality control records to meet inspection standards.

Scheduling regular equipment maintenance and completing workflows are required responsibilities.

Collaboration with team members and leadership is essential to uphold health and safety compliance.

Effective communication skills are important for engaging with diverse patient populations.

Current mammography certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) are mandatory.

Candidates may need to accommodate block schedules, subject to approval.

RTO must be included at the time of submission, with no call-outs allowed.

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Module hours, which are non-billable, are included in the onboarding hours.
