Special Events Assistant Manager Salary Exempt : $70,720.00 Annually Fulltime

Join our award-winning fine dining team at The Firehouse Restaurant! We’re seeking an experienced and highly organized Special Events Assistant Manager to support our Special Events Manager in delivering exceptional private dining experiences for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing private events and banquets.
- Supervise event staff, ensuring setup accuracy, guest satisfaction, and smooth service execution.
- Support client communication — from inquiries and contracts to onsite coordination.
- Conduct event walkthroughs, manage deposits, and maintain event details in Caterease.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef on custom menus and event details.
- Participate in outside sales activities to promote The Firehouse for private dining and special events.
- Perform scheduling, labor audits, and assist with performance feedback for event staff.
- Serve as floor manager during events when needed.
Requirements : Qualifications
2+ years of management experience and 2+ years of sales or event planning.Experience in fine dining or hospitality preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems (Micros preferred); Caterease experience a plus.Must obtain RBS and Food Handler’s Certificates (within 60 days of hire).Schedule & Compensation
