Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for all aspects of the reprocessing of reusable instrumentation and supplies. The role ensures that sterile items are delivered to the right place, at the right time, in the right condition, and are the correct items. The sterile processing includes Decontamination, Preparation, Sterilization, and Storage of processed items. The technician is also responsible for monitoring, testing, and maintaining records of the processes.

• Manage the reprocessing of reusable instrumentation and supplies.
• Ensure sterile items are delivered appropriately.
• Conduct Decontamination, Preparation, Sterilization, and Storage of items.
• Monitor and test processes, and maintain relevant records.
