Providing patient care and emotional support is essential, as is maintaining and cleaning equipment and reporting technical issues as needed. Qualifications typically include completion of a formal education program in radiologic technology or a related field, with certification such as the Mammography (M-ARRT) preferred. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and empathy for patients are important.
