HealthRIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive service, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24 / 7 and include individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, medication support services, and crisis intervention.

Job Summary :
Be Well is located on the Be Well Orange County campus, which brings together mental health care services uniting public, private, academic, and faith-based organizations in a cooperative partnership that helps facilitate communication, bridge gaps, and eliminate barriers to care. The result is a more compassionate system of care that works better for everyone in the community. The 24 / 7 / 365 residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program provides 3.1, 3.3, and 3.5 ASAM levels of care for males and females, as well as 3.2 withdrawal management. There are 15 beds allocated for 3.1 / 3.5, 15 beds for 3.3 and 12 beds for 3.2, for a total of 42 beds.
The Program Director is responsible for the oversight of day-to-day program operations of the residential treatment program. The Program Director provides training and leadership development to the Supervisors and Direct Service Staff. The Program Director is responsible for critical balance between providing high quality, safe services, maximizing contract and other revenues and overall fiscal responsibility. The Program Director also demonstrates ownership, leadership, and strategic thinking, and motivates and inspires high performing teams.
Key Responsibilities :
People Management :
Interview, select, hire, and terminate employees in collaboration with Human Resources.Supervise direct reports and service staff.Ensure that all direct reports follow HealthRIGHT 360's policies, procedures, position expectations, performance goals, and contractual requirements.Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, support, and conduct formal performance evaluations in a timely manner.Identify direct reports' strengths and weaknesses and strive to develop each team member to their fullest potential.Deliver and arrange training and resources to ensure that direct reports are successful in their roles.Ensure proper coverage of the program by creating work schedules and approving time away from work.Deliver all communications necessary to all team members to remain current with HealthRIGHT 360's policies and procedures and to inform them on quality-of-care concerns.Program Management :
Provide overall leadership, coordination, and management of the program.Create, develop, maintain, and implement systems, policies, and procedures for all aspects of service planning, development, and linkages to other resources, in accordance with county contracts, performance requirement, treatment matrix, scope of work or other program requirements as identified by the county.Create and develop systems to track performance measures and client outcomes across programs.Develop and implement a method of monitoring to ensure contract requirements are being met.Keep record of all inspections conducted by the contractor, any corrective action taken, the time problem was first identified, a clear description of the problem, and the time elapsed between identification and completed corrective action, shall be provided to the County upon request.Monitor program budget and facilitate response to ensure utilization. Ensure that all projects / program stay within agreed budgetary limitations.Manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements.Implement quality improvements in the integration of behavioral health services to improve the quality and continuum of client care.Treatment Oversight :
Ensure that program staff provide strength-based, trauma-informed, client-centered approach, and culturally competent services in an ethical and legal manner and in accordance with program requirements, HealthRIGHT 360's policies and procedures, and all other regulatory requirements.Utilize a client-centered approach when making program decisions.Ensure that staff submits documentation in accordance with program requirements and HealthRIGHT 360's policies and procedures to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements.Administrative :
Plan, design, evaluate, and manage community development and training programs.Present HealthRIGHT 360's programs to community and civic groups.Work with funding sources to coordinate services.Monitor program compliance, quality assurance, and reporting compliance.Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with County Agency representatives and county program managers funding HealthRIGHT 360's programs.Represent HealthRIGHT 360 to existing and potential future funding sources.Qualifications :
Education, Certification, or Licensure :
Master's degree from an accredited university. Possess a current registration or licensure with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (AMFT, APCC, ACSW, LMFT, LPCC, LCSW), or California Board of Psychology; orBachelor's degree from an accredited university. Possess a current Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Substance Use Disorder Counselor Certification from an accredited California agency (CCAPP, CADTP, CAADE).Possess current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.Possess a valid California driver's license.Experience :
Two years' experience treating or counseling clients with co-occurring disorders.At least three years' experience supervising staff and / or program management.Background Check and Other Requirements :
