Must-Have :Description :
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a cancellation.
Minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
The unit will not accept first-time travelers.
Local candidates are accepted.
IV skills are necessary.
Candidate must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
Travelers will work with a Centralized Resource Nursing Pool.
Candidates will float across medical and surgical floors.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
Contract staff may be required to work during catastrophic events or disasters.
Patients are generally med-surg; telemetry patients are no longer accepted.
Target patient ratios are 1 : 6 / 7, with a maximum of 1 : 7 during critical staffing.
Self-scheduling is available based on unit needs.
Scrubs should be navy and / or white.
Travelers must adhere to the call-off policy, which is strongly enforced.
Candidates must be able to float based on job requirements with no restrictions or special requests.
References from managers / supervisors within the past 12 months are preferred.
Travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours in a week.
Modules must be completed pre-start and annually.
