Principal Risk Specialist
The Enterprise Change and Risk Governance Team is responsible for maintaining the standards, processes, and procedures that ensure the largest, most critical programs across first and second line divisions are well managed. We partner with first and second line risk managers and delivery leads to ensure governance requirements are embedded into program frameworks and monitor to ensure continued adherence to those requirements. We consult with, advise, and prepare program leaders to deliver their best products. As a Principal Associate on this team, your role will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for quality assurance, strong attention to detail, and a desire to help the enterprise appropriately manage the change risk associated with large-scale project execution.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA : $117,300 - $133,900 for Principal Risk Specialist
Richmond, VA : $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Risk Specialist
Riverwoods, IL : $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Risk Specialist
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
