Proctor Senior Behavioral Health is a comprehensive Inpatient psychiatric facility serving those aged 55 and above in their acute mental health needs. This unit is the only geriatric specific inpatient unit serving the Peoria area and are looking for staff interested in working with this population in the hospital setting. Our diverse team offers the ability to work side by side with a mature staff that are focused on teamwork and professional growth. We offer an interdisciplinary approach in our treatment planning and care model that includes all scopes involved in our patients health. QualificationsLicense / Certifications : Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License Current licensure in good standing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. Upon HireMust possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 DaysIf hired after August 1, 2019 - must possess and maintain Crisis Prevention (CPI) certification within 3 MonthsEducation : College Degree : NursingOther Knowledge / Skills : Advanced reading, writing skills and basic oral skills Ability to respond appropriately to customer / co-worker. Interaction with a wide variety of people. Maintain confidential information. Ability to communicate only the facts to recipients or to decline to reveal information. Ability to project a professional, friendly, helpful demeanor. Basic computer knowledge : Uses word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail application, and web browser. Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation range for this position is $33.32per hour - $57.31per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
