Job Details

Weekly Estimated Pay : $1590–$1710

Location : Leonardtown, Maryland 20650

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : December 1, 2025

Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend (6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks)

Unit : Telemetry

Scrubs : Caribbean Blue (not provided)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience

Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or compact state

Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Strong clinical skills in telemetry, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and dysrhythmia management

Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity

Two supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

COVID-19 vaccine not required

Accepts first-time travel nurses

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to changes in patient condition

Care for patients with CHF, MI, Atrial Fibrillation / Flutter, Stroke / TIA, ESRD, Seizures, COPD, Diabetes, COVID, Pneumonia, Sepsis, and other diagnoses

Assist with procedures including peritoneal dialysis and telemetry monitoring

Utilize safe patient handling equipment, including ceiling lifts in every room

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Social Services, and more

Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner (preferred)

Complete required orientation and training modules

Float to other nursing units of similar or lower acuity as needed
