The individual chosen for this position will assist in these activities under our Orthobiologics / Vet vertical. Preferably, our ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering or Biomedical Engineering. This Co-op will run from January 2026 – June 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility. Main Objective : Support the Design Quality Engineers within the Orthobiologics / Vet vertical. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Assist in reviewing, updating, and optimizing departmental procedures to enhance clarity and compliance. Support acquisition-related projects by performing gap assessments and executing required activities. Create and manage deliverables based on the New Product Development project. Contribute to future project phases, including procedural development and related quality activities. Review change requests and provide recommendations based on quality and regulatory standards. Collaborate with Design Quality Engineers to assess existing procedures. Identify gaps and assist in writing, revising, and uploading documents using Documentum. Participate in team meetings and cross-functional collaborations. Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental goals and personal development. Education and Experience : Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree in Engineering required.Senior studying Biomedical Engineering preferred. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern / co-op up to six months from their graduation date.) Knowledge and Skill Requirements / Specialized Courses and / or Training : Ability to effectively communicate, oral and written, and possess the ability to work through technical issues. Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred. Machine, Tools, and / or Equipment Skills : Knowledge of surgical equipment / instrumentation and mechanical testing equipment preferred.
