Machine Operator

Job Description

Job Summary :

A Jackson Metro Area print shop is seeking a dedicated and skilled Rewind Machine Operators to join their 1st shift production team. The operator will be responsible for running, maintaining, and troubleshooting machines used in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidates will have attention to detail, a solid understanding of production equipment, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate machines to perform rewinding, cutting, and packaging of materials labels, film, paper).
• Ensure machine settings are correctly calibrated to meet production specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production quality and make adjustments as needed to maintain high-quality output.
• Inspect materials for defects, such as tears, wrinkles, or other imperfections, and take corrective actions.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and work with maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure proper material handling and storage of products.
• Document production output, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
