Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant

Location : Waco

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM

Pay : $17.00 / hr to start – pay increase upon permanent hire

Position Summary

Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to support the QA department in ensuring that all products meet company and customer quality standards. This role will involve a blend of office-based administrative tasks and hands-on inspection duties on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both hot and cold environments and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Assurance team with daily inspections, testing, and verification of production materials and finished goods.
• Perform visual inspections, measurements, and documentation to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Complete QA forms, logs, and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors, production teams, and QA leadership.
• Assist with non-conformance tracking, corrective actions, and follow-up.
• Support sample collection, labeling, and testing activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of QA workstations and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, and quality procedures while working in hot / cold manufacturing environments.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the QA department.
