We are seeking an Insurance Analyst to join our Servicing and Asset Management team. The Insurance Analyst handles the insurance process for our Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, USDA, and Conventional Loan Portfolios in accordance with departmental policy, procedures, and agency guidelines.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintain evidence and invoice tracking in Microsoft Dynamics ensuring that evidence and invoices are received and processed within an established timeframe preventing cancellations and protecting the Lender’s interest in the property.
- Communicate regularly with internal and external clients related to insurance matters.
- Prepare insurance premium invoices for processing.
- Perform compliance review with supervision.
- Obtain proper documentation and prepare waivers for submission for senior-level or management review.
- Prepare insurance non-compliant transfer forms as needed for senior-level or management review.
- Verifying and entering data information into the servicing system related to insurance.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required :
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or one (1) years of relevant work experience.Basic understanding of general loan documentation and agency guidelines for insurance.Understand company guidelines for data integrity.Basic understanding of general insurance documentation and terminology.Exhibit self-motivation whether working independently or in a group.Basic verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.Basic knowledge of MS Office with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
