Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs. Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations. Maintain and update cost databases, ensuring all pricing information is current and accurate. Review and validate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and competitiveness. Assist in preparing project proposals and bid packages. Provide support during project negotiations and pre-construction meetings.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have : Strong knowledge of construction industry standards and practices. Proficiency in estimating software and tools. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
