Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma!
The Quality Control Technician performs inspections, checks, tests, and samplings on all incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacturing of products provided by our company.
Responsibilities :
- Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies and finished goods (including FAIs) according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical, and / or electrical measurements.
- Inspects, reworks, or rejects subassemblies or finished products as required.
- Conducts and documents process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards.
- Accurately documents the results of each inspection and testing.
- Coordinates and / or performs calibration of test equipment and fixtures.
- Reads and interprets engineering drawings and material specifications.
- Maintains detailed records describing and verifying completion of all required quality inspections.
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate's Degree in engineering or a technical discipline. In lieu of a degree, equivalent number years of experience is required.0- 2 years of related experience required.Knowledge of dimensional metrology, along with the technical skills to perform basic mechanical inspection and gauging operations. Basic understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) a plus.Solid computer skills include MS OfficePhysical Demands :
Good manual dexterity and eye / hand coordination.Required to stand, walk, and sit and requires some lifting in excess of 25 pounds.May use manufacturing equipment and machines that requires personal protective equipmentWork Environment :
