Overview
The faulty will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time basis in the Advertising Art / Graphic Design Programs in one or more of the following : Advertising Art / Graphic Design courses (both lecture and studio) : Art History, Color, Typography, Two-Dimensional Design, Drawing, Introduction to Graphic Design, and Introduction to Computer Graphics. Art History may be delivered in an online modality.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in an art discipline, e.g., art, commercial art, graphic design. Required
- Master's Degree in relevant discipline. Preferred
- Coursework in or experience using technology in instruction. Preferred
EXPERIENCE
Employment experience in commercial art field. PreferredSuccessful teaching experience, preferably at the college level. PreferredABILITIES AND SKILLS
For Introduction to Graphic Design course, strong graphic design skills are required. For other courses, skill with a variety of art tools (including computer graphics) is required.
