Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in California requiring a CA RN license, Cath Lab procedural experience, and advanced certifications. Responsibilities Work in the Cath Lab of an acute care hospital Daily caseload ranges from 8 to 12 patients Procedures include coronary diagnostic and interventions, peripheral diagnostic and interventions, and permanent pacemaker placements Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 8 : 30 to 17 : 00 Weekend and on-call shifts are required Charting is performed using Epic EMR No floating required within the hospital, but travelers may be expected to float to affiliated hospitals nearby Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures and managing patient care in the Cath Lab setting Must be willing to work at least 2 out of the 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff Free parking is provided on the first day with assignment parking issued during orientation A 30-hour orientation will be provided Pre-employment online modules are required to be completed before start Facility offers support for travelers in securing housing if needed First-time travelers are welcome to apply Requirements Active CA RN license required Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab nursing experience Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and Fluoroscopy Permit Candidates with pending Fluoro Permit will be considered if already applied Experience with Epic EMR required Two supervisory references from the past three years in a comparable specialty / setting are required Returning permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Applicants must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel pay Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632368.
