JOB SUMMARY
MHP Behavioral Health Services is an outpatient mental health center serving children (ages 3+) through adults, with opportunities for individual, group, family, couples, and play therapy, as well as psychological testing. Specific psychological tests used include IQ / educational assessment, personality assessments, and other social-emotional assessments.
The Staff Counselor is expected to maintain a rolling caseload to meet the needs of the center and MHP's physician referrers. Includes individual supervision, group supervision, psychological testing seminar, case management, and direct patient contact (e.g., individual, group, family, conjoint, or play therapy; walk-in crisis coverage; psychological testing). Opportunities for community and clinical outreach may also be available.
Professional & Technical Skills
Graduated or graduating from a CACREP-accredited graduate program in clinical or counseling psychology.
Proof of completion of degree requirements by the start of the employment date is required.
Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
