Field Service Engineer – Gas Systems (Remote)

What You’ll Do

  • Install, commission, and validate nitrogen generators and related gas systems on-site.
  • Integrate systems with laboratory instrumentation (especially LC / MS platforms).
  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance verification to ensure top reliability.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues with minimal downtime.
  • Provide technical support and training; both on-site and remote, for customers and distributors.
  • Deliver hands-on user training on operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Keep detailed service documentation and uphold strict quality and safety standards.
  • What You Bring

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering or equivalent hands-on field experience.
  • 2+ years working with gas (Peak Scientific a plus), compressed air systems, or related laboratory / industrial equipment.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical domains.
  • Familiarity with analytical laboratory environments (LC / MS experience strongly ).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across your assigned territory.

    Salary : $80,000 to $85,000 per year + Overtime

    Location : Remote with Travel (client visits, installation, service, etc.) – 60% Travel

    Candidate MUST live in the Eastern or Midwest regions of the USA, Gulf State Candidates are ok as well.
