SUMMARY :

As a BioPharmaceuticals Account Manager, you will take the lead in promoting our infusion product, generating demand through your comprehensive clinical knowledge and by executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives within the local market. You will partner with various stakeholders to provide essential services that meet account and customer needs. Our Account Managers excel in navigating the complexities of commercialization in today’s fast-paced marketplace and are expected to demonstrate expertise in the following areas :

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Business Planning & Account Leadership : Utilize digital tools and data-driven insights to build opportunities and develop integrated strategies.
  • Selling : Clearly convey messages and effectively engage multi-disciplinary customers to drive changes in behavior.
  • Customer Development : Foster entrepreneurial relationships and collaborate effectively based on customer requirements.
  • Payer Access : Navigate complex reimbursement and distribution processes to address payer access issues.
  • Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise : Analyze market trends, dynamics, and treatment options to identify unique opportunities.
  • Pharmaceutical Environment / Compliance : Ensure adherence to regulations regarding the promotion of pharmaceutical products.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in Specialty Sales within Pharmaceuticals or Biopharmaceuticals.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive account plans.
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to excel in product knowledge tests and training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS :

  • Experience in infusion / rare disease sales and familiarity with pricing and reimbursement.
  • Background in neurology, specifically migraine treatments.
  • Experience with high influence customers across various healthcare settings.
  • Experience in product launches within new therapeutic classes.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with sales data reporting tools.
  • TRAVEL :

  • Willingness to travel 30% - 40% domestically to meet customers and attend conferences.
  • The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000, with an additional sales incentive target of $41,500. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including flexible paid time off, health benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), a company-matched 401k, and a company car.
