Warehouse Material Handler (Wire Cutter)

The Warehouse Material Handler will be primarily responsible for working in the wire department. This role involves pulling electrical wire off reels, measuring it according to order specifications, and cutting the wire. After cutting, you will assist in preparing the product for shipment. This is a physically demanding position that requires lifting up to 70 pounds. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working at a fast pace and under minimal supervision once training is completed. Additional duties may include order picking and shipping / receiving. You may also be asked to assist in other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull electrical wire off reels and measure to order specifications.
• Cut wire accurately as per the specified measurements.
• Assist in preparing products for shipment.
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift up to 70 pounds and handle materials safely.
• Perform additional tasks such as order picking and shipping / receiving.
• Help in other departments when necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
