Job Summary and Responsibilities

Assess patient / family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.

Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.

Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.

Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and / orescalating issues.

Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.

Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.

Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.

Job Requirements

Required

Associate Of Nursing and One (1) year RN experience or

Bachelors Of Nursing and One (1) year RN experience

Registered Nurse : AZ (RN : AZ)

Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 - months of hire

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Basic computer skills

Strong cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump skills

Pay Range

$35.00 - $58.63 / hour
