Details :

Unit : 20 beds, mixed medical / surgical & step-down

Ratios : 1 : 4–6

Patients : Post-PCI, pacemaker, CHF, COPD, DKA, renal failure, sepsis, surgical recovery

Equipment : A-lines, chest tubes, vents, telemetry, multiple IVs

Meds : Heparin, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Milrinone

Requirements :

MT RN license (or compact)

BLS, ACLS, PALS (ENPC / TNCC preferred)

2+ years PCU / step-down experience

Strong critical care and telemetry skills
