Summary :

QC Chemist personnel ensures that profitable, quality products are sold to the marketplace in compliance with the applicable ISO standards by the efficient, reproducible, and accurate analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and final products, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the processes supporting this outcome.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

• Chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and final products to ensure conformity to standards and specifications with the generation of accurate test records. Tests include, but are not limited to gas chromatography, automated and manual titration, Brookfield, and U-tube viscosity, FTIR spectroscopy, pH measurement, tensile and overlap shear force measurement, physical properties testing (hardness, resilience), and UV curing and photoactivity of UV-curable resins / adhesives.
• Laboratory instrumentation / equipment upkeep and maintenance, including troubleshooting.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement in laboratory practices for quality, safety, and environmental health.
• Creation and revision of standard operating procedures, test procedures and forms.
• Project work includes statistical analysis, investigation support, and collaboration with other departments.
