Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience, ARRT Radiography certification, and BLS for a travel position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital CT Scanning department
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week with primarily 8 hour shifts and occasional 10 hour shifts on weekends
  • Shift start times vary between 6 : 30AM and 12 : 30PM, with end times between 3PM and 9PM
  • Every third weekend coverage required
  • Rare overnight or evening shifts may be needed
  • EMR system used is Epic
  • Produce high-quality CT images for physician interpretation following department standards
  • Maintain competency with a variety of CT imaging equipment and technology
  • Adhere to safety guidelines for self, patients, and co-workers
  • Respond to on-call pager as needed, including occasional days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • COVID-19 vaccination and booster are required
  • Must maintain flexibility to float to various work locations and shift times
  • Only one year assignment allowed before a 30-60 day break is required before returning

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography required
  • BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
  • ARRT (CT) certification preferred and required for travelers by start date
  • Active state license required if applicable
  • No pending licenses accepted at time of consideration
  • Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
