Project Manager

A rapidly growing ecological restoration firm is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of restoration projects across forests, meadows, streams, and working lands in the Mid-Atlantic. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable managing people, logistics, budgets, and client expectations as they are overseeing field implementation. It is a key leadership position with direct influence on project quality and ecological outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of restoration projects including planning, field execution, monitoring, and reporting
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, internal teams, and client communication
• Lead permitting activities, design collaboration, and site assessments
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients : agencies, nonprofits, private landowners, and municipalities
• Support hiring, mentoring, and development of Field Leaders and field technicians
• Ensure safety, quality, and ecological standards are consistently met by field crews
• Coordinate with internal nursery / logistics teams for plant materials, equipment, and supplies
• Produce clear documentation, progress updates, and project close-out materials
