Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse at Senior Brookdale Living Inc., located in Niskayuna, NY. The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing basic medical care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing emotional support to residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience in administering medications and monitoring vital signs
• Basic knowledge of patient care and ability to assist with daily living activities
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
• Compassion and empathy towards residents and their families
• Current and valid LPN license
• CPR certification
• Experience in elderly or long-term care is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in nursing is preferred
