Hourly Pay Range :

$56.44 - $70.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Job Description :

Exciting opportunity to join our pediatrics team in Elmhurst, IL. This is an out-patient only position to replace a nurse practitioner who is retiring. The role will require participation in an outpatient pediatric call group.

Under the direction of a physician, provides pediatric care to patients. Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations, orders imaging, lab tests and diagnostic procedures and interprets results.  Instructs patients / parents on the prescribed therapeutic regimen. Maintains records and writes progress notes on status, treatments and procedures. Collaborates with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Develops a comprehensive plan of care that includes interventions and treatments.  Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate.

Demonstrates evidence-based practice.  Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice in the specialty.  Provides staff education as indicated.

Assesses the learning needs of patients and families across the continuum.  Employs strategies, interventions, and teaching to promote, maintain, and improve health.

Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service line goals.  Supports the strategic plan of the organization.

Adheres to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures.
