Commercial Lines Account Manager - Hybrid / Remote - Hawthorne, CA

An established independent insurance brokerage is searching for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team! This agency has two decades of industry success and highly focuses on creating a supportive environment for its employees and ensuring every client feels valued!

The Fun Stuff :

  • Annual salary of $70,000 - $100,000, with additional commission opportunities
  • Hybrid work schedule or the option of working fully remote

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Active Property & Casualty license
  • Experience : 4+ years of commercial lines account management
  • Agency Management Systems : Applied Epic
  • Book of Business Management : Efficiently manage an existing portfolio of commercial accounts
  • In-depth understanding of insurance coverages, products, and agency procedures
  • The Position :

  • Responsible for staying in direct contact with clients and providing excellent customer service
  • Prepare and provide quotations for both new and existing clients
  • Consult with clients on coverage options and offer the most appropriate coverage for the client
  • Responsible for marketing new and renewal business
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with carriers
  • Initial review of policies and preparation of coverage breakdowns
  • Responding to correspondence, telephone, and in-person inquiries from insureds regarding coverage, policy changes, premium payments, and related matters
  • Work closely with underwriters to facilitate the issuance of insurance certificates
  • Assisting in the gathering of renewal exposure information with the producer
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned
