Your Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize both radiographic and CT techniques to create precise diagnostic images for physician review
  • Engage with radiologists and colleagues across the care spectrum to deliver accurate interpretations
  • Position patients effectively and calibrate imaging equipment to maximize results
  • Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to safeguard patients and staff
  • Maintain accurate records regarding imaging procedures and equipment status
  • Offer empathetic support to patients throughout their imaging journey
  • Help cultivate a well-organized and efficient imaging atmosphere

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is an asset
  • Graduate of a recognized radiology training program
  • Certifications You'll Need

  • Current ARRT certification (CT and / or Radiography)
  • Active BLS certification, or the ability to secure it within 90 days of employment
  • Essential Skills for Success

  • Expertise in imaging protocols and adherence to safety standards
  • Strong communication skills to connect with patients and interdisciplinary team members
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting and adapt promptly to urgent needs
  • Attention to detail coupled with a strong accountability ethos
  • Comfort with relevant technologies such as PACS, RIS, and modern imaging systems
