HR / Payroll Specialist

A growing automotive group is seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join its dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with prior experience working across multiple payroll systems. The incumbent will work under the direction of a senior team member and play a critical role in weekly payroll preparation and processing, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory laws, auditing payroll records and producing essential reporting. The right individual will be highly detail-oriented, a quick learner, and thrive under pressure while maintaining the utmost confidentiality. Experience in multi-location payroll environments is essential.

Essential Duties Included but are not limited to :

• Assist with full-cycle weekly payroll processing for multiple locations, including new hire setup, terminations, timecard validation, adjustments, and garnishments
• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including commissions, bonuses, overtime, and deductions, using the dealership's payroll software (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds).
• Manage and reconcile employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, disability, and 401(k) plans.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and changes.
• Administer the background check and drug screening process for all new employees.

Qualifications :

Education :

2 + years related experience and / or training or combination of education and experience.

Benefits :

Pay : $60,000 - $80,000
