Sacred Heart of Jesus is seeking qualified substitute teachers. Applicants must be highly motivated, hard-working, and collaborative team players for this position. Applicants ideally have experience working with elementary/middle school students, and have a valid substitute license. Candidates should be enthusiastic, flexible and can think on the spot to problem solve. They should have a positive and patient attitude that empowers students. Requirements:

? As a Catholic school, Gospel values, prayer, and a belief in a loving God are essential to how our school operates. It is not a requirement for this position to be Catholic, however, in order for our school to thrive, everyone needs to have an understanding of and a willingness to embody all that it means to be part of a Catholic community.

? Alignment of professional duties and responsibilities to the belief that every student can learn the skills and dispositions necessary to have an opportunity to attend college.

? Experience working or participating in Catholic education.

? Inspire a spirit of welcome and service with everyone who encounters the school.

? Ensure respectful and appropriate communication of school policies with all community members.

? Maintain professional communication both verbally and in writing. ? Comfortable use of the internet and digital tools.

? Enjoy learning new things.
