Job Title : Senior BI Tech Lead (Microsoft Stack)

Location : Remote

Engagement : Contract / Project-Based

Overview :

We're seeking an experienced BI Tech Lead to partner with our internal team in building a scalable, enterprise-grade business intelligence solution. This role will focus on accelerating delivery, avoiding common pitfalls, and ensuring best practices across architecture and implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with internal tech leadership to design and implement a modern BI solution using the Microsoft stack
  • Lead development of a centralized data warehouse (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or equivalent)
  • Build and optimize Power BI dashboards and reporting frameworks
  • Establish data governance, security protocols, and performance tuning strategies
  • Mentor internal team members and provide guidance on architecture, tooling, and deployment

Required Skills :

  • Proven experience leading BI initiatives using Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, Azure, Power BI, SSIS / SSAS)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and dashboard design
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and technical teams
  • Experience with agile delivery and project-based consulting preferred

    • Nice to Have :

  • Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or other cloud-native data tools
  • Familiarity with business domains such as finance, operations, or product analytics
