Brokerage Investment Management ESG Technology team exclusively partners with the Brokerage Investment Management ESG business division to design and develop systems and integrate vendor products to globally support full life cycle business processing. Activities include Portfolio ESG Analysis, ESG research, Client and Regulatory ESG reporting.

Opportunity with the team

Brokerage is seeking an experienced business analyst to join the Sustainability Front Office Technology team. The individual will work as part of the global development team, which is spread across 4 MSIM sites. The individual will help provide business analysis and technology solutions for ESG business needs to develop a modern technology stack to power our platforms aimed at unlocking efficiencies for our Investment Teams. As a business analyst, the individual will work closely with the Sustainability team product owners and development team to solve operational problems and provide strategic solutions to offer various Environmental, Social and Governance metrics to our investment teams.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Partner with key stakeholders to analyze business processes and system needs. Document business processes and translate business needs into technology requirements.
• Work with the development team to evaluate solutions and make objective recommendations for process improvements.
• Develop project proposals, justify recommendations with estimated costs and benefits.
• Work with the development team to implement solutions, facilitate user testing and production deployment.
• Act as liaison between the ESG product owners' team in DC and New York and the ESG Technology team in Boston / New York. Facilitate communication between ESG business stakeholders and IT.
• Act as scrum master for the agile squads in ESG and run agile ceremonies.
• Prepare and provide delivery updates to senior management and product owners / business stakeholders of ESG area.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team members to analyze and resolve production system issues, take on ad hoc user requests, analyze data and generate reports.
