We're Hiring!

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. This casual part-time position is responsible for the implementation of health / medical-related activities to meet client and program needs specified within DHS 40 regulations. There may be other opportunities for agency health / medical-related services. This position will work approximately 5-7 hours per week for our Day Treatment program, which runs Monday-Friday from 8 : 30am-2 : 00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical services to ensure clients' health and medical needs are being met.
• Monitor medication compliance on clients, as needed, including communication with physicians and pharmacies. Review medication errors.
• Complete and document regular health assessments of all clients. These assessments include vital signs, heigh, weight, lung sounds and monitoring of side effects as specified by the prescribing physician.
• Conduct client education groups, including a minimum of three to six hours per group per week at Day Treatment.
