Job Description
The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel is seeking a dedicated individual for the housekeeping role. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring they meet Omni Standards. The role also includes servicing designated public areas and completing various guest-related tasks.
Responsibilities include :
- Ensuring assigned linen room closets are stocked at par.
- Emptying guest room area linens and garbage hourly or as needed.
- Keeping chute rooms clean and orderly.
- Removing trays from guest floors.
- Maintaining cleanliness of corridors on guest room floors.
- Keeping areas around vending machines clean.
- Moving furniture upon request.
- Completing guest requests promptly.
- Following proper linen receiving and delivery procedures.
- Performing all other duties as requested by management.
- Ensuring work areas are clean and free of standing water, debris, or any objects that may obstruct safe, efficient, and effective job performance.
Qualifications include :
Ability to maintain a 4-Diamond level of service.Capable of collaborating with management on special projects.Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.Physical Requirements :
Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 100 pounds without assistance.Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, including entire work shifts.Must perform repetitive motions as required by job duties.Omni Hotels & Resort is an equal opportunity employer - vets / disability.
