Job descriptionActive Psychologist license in the State of Michigan (required). PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Experience in correctional, forensic, or community mental health settings preferred. Strong communication, diagnostic, and crisis intervention skills. Competitive pay at $60 / hour, paid weekly. Steady Monday–Friday schedule, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (no weekends or on-call). Supportive and collaborative work environment. Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our behavioral health team at a correctional facility in Marquette, MI. Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and testing.
- Provide individual and group therapy to incarcerated individuals.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with facility and state guidelines.
- Respond to mental health crises and provide emergency interventions as needed.
