Responsibilities Hospital setting with float pool covering Medical / Surgical Telemetry units Patient populations include medical, surgical, and observation cases Float pool RNs may work in up to two different units within a 12-hour shift based on staffing needs Three 12-hour night shifts per week (19 : 00-07 : 30) Every other weekend coverage required Documentation is performed using Cerner EMR First-time travelers with the required experience are welcome to apply Expected to relieve Avasure video monitoring staff for breaks and meals as needed Float pool team includes RNs, PCAs, and OAs assigned based on unit needs Return staff are only eligible after a one-year interval Standard contract length is 14 weeks Request for time off must be declared at the time of application Requirements Active MA RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Med / Surg Telemetry Current certifications in BLS and ACLS Cardiac experience required Experience with either Epic or Cerner EMR systems preferred Must provide two professional supervisory references from the past two years Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-631399.
